How your weekend on the Nida might look
Friday – Arrival and relaxation
You arrive in the afternoon as the city falls behind you. You settle in peacefully, walk along the Nida riverbank and notice how silence sounds completely different here than it does during the week. An evening by the campfire and your first real break from the screen.
Saturday – Kayak trip and evening campfire
In the morning you head out on the water. You paddle the chosen route through the Nida valley – stopping when you like, photographing herons and kingfishers, resting on the gentle bends of the river. After the trip you return to base. A campfire, sausages and a long evening with the people you care about await. Those kinds of conversations can't be planned – they just happen around the fire.
Sunday – A second paddle or a peaceful morning by the river
A morning by the river has its own rhythm. You can plan a short morning paddle before heading home, or simply stay and do nothing for a while. Both are good options. If your group has energy for more – we can add an extra route for the second part of the weekend.
Planning a larger group trip? Check out group and corporate kayak trips – we organise weekends for groups with full infrastructure.
Who is a weekend on the Nida best suited for?
For families with children
The Nida has a gentle current and low banks, so the trip can be suitable for families with children when the route is matched to the age and abilities of the participants. A river weekend gives children contact with nature, new experiences and the chance to spend active time with parents away from screens. Routes and pace are tailored to the composition and abilities of the group.
For groups of friends
A weekend trip with friends to the Nida doesn't require complicated logistics. You arrive on your chosen date and we take care of the rest. A kayak trip, an evening by the campfire and a night by the river is a proven way to make shared time truly worthwhile. We handle groups from a few to several dozen people.
For city dwellers seeking a quiet weekend
The Nida valley offers something hard to find at popular tourist resorts – space and quiet without the crowds. Świętokrzyskie is easily accessible from Kraków, Warsaw, Częstochowa and Łódź, making a weekend on the Nida a realistic option without a long journey. Learn more about kayaking in Świętokrzyskie.

Frequently asked questions
We recommend: comfortable water clothes (shorts, t-shirt), water shoes or old trainers, a towel, sunscreen, insect repellent, a warm layer for the evening and a sleeping bag if you plan to sleep in your own tent. We provide the kayak, life jackets and safety briefing.
Our kayaking weekends work well for families too. Routes are matched to the abilities of the youngest participants and the riverside infrastructure is comfortable and family-friendly. A campfire and sleeping under the stars is an unforgettable experience for children.
We have a covered shelter for protection from rain. Light rain does not interfere with the trip – we provide waterproof bags for valuables. In case of extreme weather we contact participants about rescheduling.
